Why are the Giants underdogs?

Yahoo fantasy football analyst Scott Pianowski reveals his weekly NFL betting ticket in his throwing darts column. He find out where he puts his jellies for week 13. All jokes courtesy of our friends at BetMGM.

Not the most exciting thing in the world, 3-2 weeks, but no one has ever gone broke making money. However, we keep our heads down, we keep grinding. This game humiliates everyone sooner or later. Here is my week 13 card. Full season logging and collection logs can be found at the bottom.

Giants +2.5 vs. Commanders

I see two similar teams, a good coach, and misleading win-loss records that don’t match the secondary metrics. In short, they were lucky. But given how low both franchises have been lately, they should be feeling great about the season. I’d prefer the Giants at this point, even if slightly. Happy to grab the points. And while Washington’s talent is better, New York probably has a better quarterback.

Broncos/Ravens under 39.5

It almost seems like a bit at this point: Take the Under in the Denver game until the Broncos show the ability to actually score. And the Ravens also have a scoring problem. Lamar Jackson had a combined 12 touchdowns in his first three games; he’s had eight since.

Texans +7 vs. Browns

Sometimes it’s about holding your nose and getting on the bad side. Yes, the Texans are the worst team in football, no need to argue. But Deshaun Watson he hasn’t played for almost two years. He has a wide range of results. And given how messy the Watson-Texans divorce is, I think at least the Texans will be up for this game. Cleveland is also down David Njokua big hit for the passing game.

Colt +10.5 to the Cowboys

Dallas supporters got a bad rap on Thanksgiving, a good ticket gone bad to a funky ending. But it’s interesting that the Cowboys were a losing bet on Thanksgiving Day for years. Perhaps some of that carries over to this island game as well — while Dallas is still a top three contender in the NFC and a damn fun fantasy team, I don’t trust them to single double digits against a non-patsy opponent.

This is a punching bag line, but the Colts—as much as they may stumble at times—aren’t a punching bag.

Saints +3.5 against buccaneers

Watching the saints offend makes my eyes bleed, and supporting them in this column makes me nauseous. But the Saints have consistently been Tom Bradyhe’s been kryptonite since he landed in Tampa Bay.

Last week: 3-2

Season: 37-20-3
